"Hello, Mrs. Kettle? This is Mrs. Pot..."

Brattleboro, Vermont's Select Board has voted for a measure to support the arrest of Bush and Cheney for Constitutional violations...and conservatives across the nation show their true colors.

Angry Bush supporters have called and e-mailed threatening never to visit Vermont again (AUTHOR'S NOTE: aaaand the bad news is...?). One guy in Minnesota, calling the townsfolk a bunch of "whack jobs," actually suggested that terrorists should attack Brattleboro next, chop off the heads of the three Select Board members who voted for the measure and show that on the internet.

And he's calling WHOM whack jobs?

(On a side note, I'm sorry, isn't Minnesota supposed to be the smartest state in the country? I guess there are exceptions to every rule.)

Oh. My. God. CHOP OFF THEIR HEADS?!?!? I guess Mr. Minnesota believes this is the Land of the Free, but if you say something I don't agree with, I'll go all "Queen of Hearts" on your ass!!!

There is now a National petition everyone should sign in support of the Brattleboro movement.

Bush and Cheney have done more harm to the US and it's economy then they have against Iraq.

I've noticed that the Republicans want freedom of expression unless you're saying something they don't agree with. Apparantly, the dumbest state in the nation is Florida. McCain wants to stay in Iraq until Anne Coulter marries Ted Kennedy. Yet, they voted for him in droves of an Octogenarian mandate. I hope all of our friends who can afford too, go spend some time and money in Vermont. Ed

Thanks, Anon! People who see this measures as extreme need to remember that regular people are tried and convicted every day for offenses and wastes far below the level of this. For those who would say "But they're NOT regular people! They're the President and Vice President of the United States," I would remind them that they were put in office as stewards of our resources and well-being and they've failed miserably on every count (and don't blow me that "we haven't had another terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11" bullshit, either--every test that's been conducted since then shows our security to be woefully lacking, so it's not their "protection" that's keeping us safe). At the very least, they should be dismissed from their jobs for such bad performances so we don't have to waste any more of our tax dollars on their salaries or their cockamamie ideas.

And Ed: I think I might like to SEE the wedding video of Ann Coulter marrying Ted Kennedy. What would happen when he pulled back her veil to find a 5-day beard?
