The Joans CD Review
We have our very first CD review (second paragraph), courtesy of Gregg Shapiro. He writes for the Windy City Free Press, along with several other syndicated publications across the country. This appeared in the Bay Area Reporter, a San Francisco area paper.

Woohoo!Rave reviews! Congratulations, too bad MTV doesn't play videos anymore. I knew the 1960's, and contrary to what this guy said you're not like a 60's band. You're so much more chic and modern. ed
I don't know how modern we are, but I know we strive for chic! Well, at least the singers to...;-)
They should play The Joans on AMC before a Joan Crawford movie (or between Joan double features).
Look into it...
Better yet, we could get onto Carrie Fisher and see if she and Bob Osborne will play us during Joan marathons on TMC!
(David's already sent our video to the head of Logo--he likes it, and put us in touch with the video guy there. We need to get a close-caption version, so we're working on that now.)
