Something Completely Un-Religious, but Not Quite Blasphemous for Easter...

This Easter for me followed one holy hell of a Holy Saturday, so instead of church, I've opted for something spiritually uplifting.

And since I couldn't find that, I'm posting this fun video of Debbie Harry singing "Call Me" on the Muppet Show in 1980.

Enjoy!

Yay! Debbie! I saw that show when it originally aired, and I couldn't decide if I was horrified or terrified. Now I love it.

You're welcome! I remember seeing that episode myself and wishing she'd sing "Accidents Never Happen," complete with falling pianos and Miss Piggy roller-skating. Alas, it wasn't to be...but I think she still delivered.

I'm catching up! My fave is when she does one way or another and opens the doors with the monster and the screaming lady. I wonder if she was high during the filming of it.

She sort of looked high when she was running away from the monster. But maybe she was just having fun. I was! God bless my parents for sitting through those with me. Buy they sort of liked Blondie, too. (My mom even liked "Call Me" and "One Way or Another," especially, although she's not a big Debbie fan.)
