One Way Or Another...
Chicago Sun-Times columnist, right-wing pundit and Boo-Berry lookalike Robert Novak may not have been arrested for leaking Valerie Plame's name (although he reported it way before Judith Miller did), but he did get a $50 ticket for hitting a pedestrian.
Well, it's not a very big fine for hitting someone with a car, but it was Washington, D.C., he is a Republican, and they do have the bully pulpit.
At least for now.
And of course he drives a black Corvette. Of course. That's the aging hipster-mobile of choice. It's what old men buy when they don't have the guts to actually walk into the shop and buy the dildo...

You know, I hadn't even thought of that--that's so true! But I'll bet this fossilized turd wouldn't know how to do an internet search. (And he wouldn't DARE foist that one off on an intern...) :-)

I didn't know this guy was from Chicago, I would have guessed oh maybe Uranus.
The 77 yer old Novak hit the pedestrian and splayed him across the windshield but didn't even know he did it. He was stopped by a guy on a bicycle who witnessed the whole thing. Apparently Novak only drives 10 miles an hour and probably has his turn signal on constantly. Yeah, I've been behind him a few times I'm sure. ed
Yes, he apparently took his Chicago-senior-citizen driving habits with him to D.C. Golden oldsters are notorious for running into groups of people here (and law enforcement is about as useless as tits on a boar when it comes to pulling incompetent elderly drivers off the road).
The way to tell Booberry and Novak apart is simple. Booberry is the one with a soul.
And better clothing!
