Quote Of The Week
From a mass e-mail from the Democratic National Committee, signed by Paul Begala:
"Watching President Bush try to complete a sentence is like watching a fat drunk try to cross an icy road."
I SO wish I'd come up with it first--you know I do!

GENIUS! I LOVE IT!!!! Funny because it's true.
It's brilliant, isn't it? And it's COMPLETELY true, but it's the first time I ever saw something like this said in a non-comedic context. Which only made it all the funnier.
Well, it's true but that seems like a really strange email to be sent by the DNC. Sarah
It was part of a longer e-mail about the lies being told by Republicans. Begala said that we need to send a message to them that they'll not be able to easily fool us again, although they'll try, etc. As an important example, he mentioned the State of the Union address and said that Bush would no doubt stumble over the words before he could get a whole sentence out. And then came the quote.
Oh, but think of all the analogies we could think of! ;-)
Steven: I try NOT to think of them, actually. *LOL* Although they could get pretty creative!
