Fighting Amongst Ourselves

Much has been made of the feud between Obama and Hillary...I've even mentioned it here before. But whatever we do, let's not splinter among ourselves. It's terribly foolish, counterproductive and there's too much at stake here.

Let's see, many Hillary supporters won't vote for Obama and vice versa. Several thousand if not millions will once again throw their vote away on Nader. Yep, Bush was right, McCain is a shoe in I'm afraid. PT Barnum said, "there's a sucker born every minute." Let me add if I may be so bold, "and a fool born every second." We get the kind of Government we deserve. Ed

I hope that after the last election, the Dems are smarter than to throw votes away on Nader or whoever the "dillentante of the day" is. It's already been proven that that doesn't work.

I'm just wondering if there is anything we can do (that can be done) at this point of the campaign? Is there something that you have in mind? And I so agree with your views on Nader. It seems like he's an "underground Republican" just used to break up the Democrat votes?

The only thing I have in mind is for everybody to take one step back (even a lil' baby step!) and think critically about what's being said and what this all means before dividing up into warring factions.

Sadly, this kind of action (which calls more for REASON than action) is very unpopular with Americans, and it's not going to happen.

So, to answer your question, no, there's nothing I suggest doing...but nobody will be happier than I am if I'm proven wrong.
