In my paper this morning I read where a Black rap group is coming to a nearby college town. The story added this caution: They're lyrics often contain derogatory remarks about women and other ethnic groups. I wonder if it was a white group with the same kind of lyrics if they would be welcome to perform?
Of course, if they had enough of a draw. If Eminem suddenly finds his recording (oh, yes, and now film) career drying up, he'll probably be making the college circuit. As long as there are people dumb enough to shell out money for this shit, it will be available to them, regardless of the political incorrectness (or just plain stupidity).
